Premier's Reading Challenge
The Premier has set a challenge for students in South Australia to read 12 books a year. Eight of these books come from a list of high quality titles and four of the books can be of the student's choice. Students begin the challenge in January when the school term begins and have until September to complete the challenge. Students record the books they have read on a form, which is then handed to the library staff by a date the school sets in September.
Students in Reception to Year 2 complete the challenge in the Library with the teacher librarian or in the classroom supported by their teacher.
